So the republicans want all of the records from search engines. They are trying to pass COPA, a federal law that requires people that publish non-obscene, constitutionally protected sexual material online to take expensive and difficult steps to protect the material from four year old children. So the nation doesn’t have their four year old children looking at posts of the sports illustrated swim suit issue. Well if you dont want your child looking at ladies in provocative bathing attire sit down with them and make sure they don’t go to those sites! George and his kronies are just taking more of our freedoms away from us. All of the other search engines gave up the information except for google who is bound to eventually. With these records George will have IP addresses of computers and your search strings. But… If none of these search engines collected all of this material in the first place The Man wouldn’t be able to obtain it. Somthing to think about. Fight for your rights or the religious right will stomp on them all.
